Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be integral in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operational efficiency. Your expertise in cloud security, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) will drive the success of our digital products, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities as a DevOps Engineer:

Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
Work collaboratively with the development team to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
Define and document cloud use policies, standards, and processes and ensure compliance with those policies.
Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas.
Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems.
Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization. Work closely with cloud support services companies to complete coverage of cloud-based work packages.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, CloudFront, 53, Lambda, Aurora, AppSync)
Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
Solid foundation of cloud networking, segmentations, proxies, ACLs and firewalls Experience in building continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) pipelines Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
Strong bias for action and ownership Experience implementing security & risk standards (e.g. ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, Cloud Security (AWS\Azure) etc.).
Excellent communication skills.
Development of cloud design documents.
