Key Responsibilities as Business Development Director:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to expand business reach.
- Client Acquisition and Management:
- Lead efforts to acquire high-value clients and strategic accounts.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the sales and business development team.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Partnerships and Networking:
- Forge and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and complementary businesses.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Revenue and Performance Tracking:
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Analyze market data to refine strategies and improve ROI.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the software services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
