Key Responsibilities as Business Development Director:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute the company’s business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
    • Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to expand business reach.
  • Client Acquisition and Management:
    • Lead efforts to acquire high-value clients and strategic accounts.
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor the sales and business development team.
    • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Partnerships and Networking:
    • Forge and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and complementary businesses.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Revenue and Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
    • Analyze market data to refine strategies and improve ROI.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles in the software services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to execute operational plans effectively.
